If any of you know an international school teacher, we move around a lot. Of course you find some teacher that have been at a school for over 6 years, but the reality is 5. With all the moving and adjusting, it can take a toll on your classroom. This year, although there have been some awesome facility and structural changes to the building, things are still vanilla for me. The ingredients are getting mixed together as a benevolent concoction that will result in A GREAT YEAR!
What's on my mind this year? Let me give you a preview of my CHAOTIC THOUGHT PROCESS!
Creating and Facilitating a PhysEd Conference here in Shekou! There is not a consistent PE conference in Asia and I'll be partnering with GOPHER Sports equipment to bring one to the rising area of Shekou! Keep checking back for updates!
HR Sensors - Collecting data is very important for the Physical Education Professional. Students learn from not only doing and repeating, but SEEING their progress. This year we will be strapping on POLAR H6 and H7 Sensors to our students and collecting the essential data to track their progress and assess their effort in PE.
PE Curriculum - My PE team and I will be collecting assessments and streamlining our PE curriculum here at SIS. Our goal is going to be imperative to a school wide initiative of transparency and connecting the community!
Looking forward to a great year at SIS! Welcome back Geckos, let's get after it!
