Yes, it may be more expensive, but the pros far out weighted the cons for what I was looking to implement. The look, durability and ease of use is what UP was built for. It can withstand showers, snowball fights or those multiple shirt grueling workouts where you don't think you could have sweat anymore (Maybe that is just me). Anyway, if you are looking for a pedometer that is wicked accurate, a sleep tracker that has been quite revealing AND a food intake diary that has ability to recognize pictures, scan codes and manual input.
When it comes to my final decision, one of the most influential factors was that you can make groups and share information or check up on other teammates! What a great way for students to see peers and teachers as roll models! I can check in to see how their goals are going and a quick journal writing session and I can see if and how much the UP is effecting their life! I can't speak my good enough and this is only 2 days into it!
Now for the fun part, BIG PICTURE! I want to see these on ever single student and teacher at schools. Bringing a community together through health. Showing first hand that a community that stays healthy together strives together.
