Coach's Eye in the Classroom

Hello Parents, Students and Fans! I have been utilizing an app that is going to revolutionize the assessment of students in my classroom. PE teachers strive to have students grow and mature in their technique, Coach's Eye gives you a platform to critique individuals. Students can watch themselves preform the skill, go back to analyze the skill and ultimately correct the skill.

I am currently incorporating Coach's Eye in my class as a feedback forum for the students. I analyze their skills as I see them, send them their feedback and give them the opportunities to practice outside of school. Students have been recording each other performing a swimming level objective, emailing it to the teacher and receiving feedback through edmodo.

Ask yourself these questions; are you coaching a team, developing your kids skills at home or play leisurely sports with your friends? If you answered yes to any of them, Coach's Eye gives you a great opportunity to make them a valuable learning process.

Good luck and have fun with Coach's Eye. If you select the logo to the left of the text it will take you to their website where you can get more information.

Shenzen in Chinese
Howdy to All,

I don't actually know if anyone reads this I figure what the heck! Things have taken quite a change for the exciting. Rachael and I currently reside in Shekou, China. We are working at Shekou International School; Rachael is a Counselor/Psychologist at the primary school and I am doing my PE and Life Skills thing at the Middle and High School. There are some crazy cool things we have been able to see and we are looking forward to the boss stuff we get to do. It has been an experience getting to know the lay of the land and the culture around us but so far so good!

With that being said, I would like to stay on top of writing in this blog a little bit more often. It is always good to write out your thoughts, but does anyone out there actually read it. Give me a shout if you stumble across this page and let me know what brought your here! Hope all is well and look forward to writing y'all in the future!
