CAPOW your next article, we do! | A quick but powerful look into using Flipboard in the classroom. Last night's #edcamp at #SISRocks I found myself excited at the opportunity to create my own text book so I sat in and listened to @cho_liz give a GREAT overview of how to use Clipboard to create your own textbooks in the classroom. As a "health" teacher, we call it LifeSkills here at SIS, I have found textbooks difficult to choose. By the time you get the books in your classroom, new research outdates some of the information, and before you know it, you're not using the textbooks as much, or you skipping sections that are irrelevant. Check out how using Flipboard can be a great way to make a magazine specific to your class. You can curate it and contribute your own articles as well as have students contribute to the magazine as well. Take these simple steps to start your own Magazine for your class.
