"Start With Why," is a revolutionary TED Talk by Simon Sinek that challenged me as a teacher, and as a person. Simon spoke about our typical decision making which is generally, from the "outside in," we do simply because we are told rather than forming decisions based on recognition from the "inside out." The simple question of "WHY?" can challenge the way you teach, the way you live, the way you blog, which brought me to creating this website.
To be very honest, I started this website for me, it's was a place for me to "PROVE IT." I write my notes from conferences I attend, I create pages for my students to visit for resources and I try to share some lessons that I think have worked out pretty well. PROVING IT is something I always talk to my kids about, they need to CAPOW any resource and link anything they may use when it comes to a post on a blog, Facebook or any other social media.
Although this site is for me, I would love your feedback on assignments or ANYTHING else. You can check out what my students are doing, they regularly post on my teacher site on Facebook and I would love for them to have feedback from a real audience.
Thanks again and check out the "Start With Why" video below.
