FITT Principle Honor Roll
Throughout my years of teaching PE, I continue to get students engaged in activity outside of class by challenging them to create FITT Goals. These goals are made at the beginning of every 8 week cycle throughout the school year. My intentions are to get them to become aware of their activity level outside of school as well as allow them to see their progress in NUMERIC FORM. I believe that when students can SEE their results and SEE they are getting better, then they are more likely to continue making the choices that will keep them healthy and active.
Below are my three main tests I do every 8 weeks with the students and the RESULTS of my top students. This next semester, I will also be challenging the students not just individually but in teams. I will add that category when I get the data! Please have a look at the documents I give my students and feel free to use them if you'd like! Email me if you want a version that you may be able to manipulate to your teaching instruction.
